Location
Our Residence Villa Schlern is situated in one of the sunniest spots in the small village of Fiè allo Sciliar, in a very quiet location and only a three-minute walk from the village centre. The property with only four residential units is embedded in a green area of over 2000 m² and has an unobstructed panoramic view to the Schlern, Prösels Castle, across the valleys to Bolzano and all the way to the Ritten high plateau. The location is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and walks. The Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high alpine pasture, can be reached in only 20 minutes and offers excellent hiking or skiing pleasure in summer and winter.
The city of Bolzano, a small old trading town, offers an exciting shopping and gourmet experience is only 17 km away and can be reached by public transport every half hour.
The small, very sunny village of Fiè allo Sciliar with its wonderful panoramic position, with just over 3000 inhabitants, is gently nestled in meadows and woods at an altitude of approx. 880 m directly below the Sciliar massif and in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Alpe di Siusi.
Fiè allo Sciliar is also known by locals and guests for its excellent cuisine. Various speciality weeks in spring and autumn, the popular and well-known Törggelen at the farms, accompanied by exquisite wines round off the offer. The extensive cultural programme, such as various concerts and exhibitions at Prösels Castle, but not only, are very popular with locals and guests.
